Past success and strategies
Instreet was founded as a real estate investment specialist. We began by supporting the establishment of the UK’s first retail garden centre property fund, and subsequently entered the world of renewable energy in 2012.
Between 2015 and 2020 we combined our real estate and energy expertise, originating a strategy to acquire land that was leased to utility-scale renewable energy infrastructure. Together with a leading UK institution we built and asset managed a £250m portfolio of land, lease and project investments.
Current activity and investments
We continue to generate opportunities in energy-related land uses. We also seek to create and invest in impact driven businesses such as those concerned with climate or financial inclusion. We will always be an early participant, being involved at pre-seed/seed stage.
